The TILE-KIOSK is made by the Japanese brand Tajimi Custom Tiles. It offers a fresh perspective on ceramic tiles.
Carefully curated deadstock, samples, and prototypes from Tajimi’s workshops are given a second life as unique, standalone objects.
With their diversity of shapes, colours, and textures, the tiles provide an inspiring glimpse into the rich world of Japanese ceramics, still produced in local kilns where centuries-old craftsmanship meets contemporary experimentation.
This is a product created in collaboration with London-based designer Max Lamb and Tajimi Custom Tiles. All of the collaborative works between Max Lamb and Tajimi Custom Tiles are made up of four different tile shapes, and this is one of them. The inside is glazed and can also be used as a tray for placing small items.
