Center for Molecular Life Sciences, University of Basel
In 2020, Japanproxy was able to furnish part of the Center for Molecular Life Sciences, University of Basel. The 72-meter-high laboratory tower has 16 upper floors and three basement levels. With 23,400 m2 of floor space, it offers room for 400 researchers and 900 students. In addition, the high-rise is a testament to state-of-the-art architecture that integrates the complex requirements of modern research in the life sciences sector. High-quality Japanese wooden furniture from Karimoku New Standard was selected for the exclusive furnishings of the Biozentrum among other products.
Thanks to our years of experience with transportation, import and the good cooperation with various Japanese companies, we were able to plan this complex process in a cost-efficient, smooth and detailed way.
With this huge project we were able to demonstrate our know-how and we are looking forward to tackle further such exciting challenges in the future.

2020 konnte Japanproxy einen Teil des Center for Molecular Life Sciences, University of Basel, mit Möbeln ausstatten. Das 72 Meter hohe Laborhochhaus weist 16 Obergeschosse und drei Untergeschosse auf. Auf seinen 23‘400 m2 Nutzfläche bietet es 400 Forschenden und 900 Studierenden Platz. Zudem zeugt das Hochhaus von modernster Architektur, welche die komplexen Anforderungen der modernen Forschung im Life-Sciences-Bereich integriert.
Für die exklusive Einrichtung des Biozentrums wurden somit unter anderem hochwertige Japanische Holzmöbel von Karimoku New Standard ausgewählt.
Dank der jahrelangen Erfahrung mit Transport, Import und der guten Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen japanischen Firmen, konnten wir diesen komplexen Ablauf kosteneffizient, reibungslos und detailliert planen.
Mit diesem riesigen Projekt konnten wir unser KnowHow vorführen und wir freuen uns auch in Zukunft weitere solche spannende Herausforderungen anzugehen.
