Center for Molecular Life Sciences, University of Basel
In 2020, Japanproxy was able to furnish part of the Center for Molecular Life Sciences, University of Basel. The 72-meter-high laboratory tower has 16 upper floors and three basement levels. With 23,400 m2 of floor space, it offers room for 400 researchers and 900 students. In addition, the high-rise is a testament to state-of-the-art architecture that integrates the complex requirements of modern research in the life sciences sector. High-quality Japanese wooden furniture from Karimoku New Standard was selected for the exclusive furnishings of the Biozentrum among other products.
Thanks to our years of experience with transportation, import and the good cooperation with various Japanese companies, we were able to plan this complex process in a cost-efficient, smooth and detailed way.
With this huge project we were able to demonstrate our know-how and we are looking forward to tackle further such exciting challenges in the future.
